Job summary

Domtar is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for the Paper Machine located in Kingsport, Tennessee. Lead technical oversight of high-speed paper operations, drive process improvements and ensure safety and environmental compliance.

You will collaborate with maintenance, production, and quality teams, develop trials, and mentor operators while applying Lean, Six Sigma and data analytics to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum eight years of experience in paper mill operations or equivalent process engineering role.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with ability to lead improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of paper machine operations for efficiency and quality.
• Lead process optimization, chemical usage, fiber yield, water and steam usage initiatives.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production and quality teams to drive improvements.
