Job summary

Moderna seeks a Senior PAM engineer to own the CyberArk program across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will design, implement, and optimize privileged access controls while partnering with engineering, security, governance, and infra teams to meet evolving security needs.

This role emphasizes IAM trends, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and documentation, with opportunities for automation and AI‑driven improvements in identity security.

Qualifications

• BS level technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in technology with 4-6+ years in identity and access management.
• 3+ years with CyberArk and Privileged Cloud technologies.
• Hands-on with CyberArk secret management platforms (Credential Provider, Secrets Hub, Conjur).
• Proficiency in English for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineering SME for Moderna's PAM program, owning CyberArk platform and components.
• Manage configuration, administration, maintenance, and optimization of CyberArk.
• Translate business needs into secure, scalable PAM solutions and designs.
• Lead onboarding of privileged accounts into CyberArk with adherence to standards.
• Develop and maintain end-user docs, knowledge articles, and training materials.
• Create architecture docs, implementation plans, and technical standards.
• Evaluate PAM environment for improvements and drive initiatives.
• Participate in DR planning, capacity management, and platform resilience.
