Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Category Manager to own and strategically source the Pallets Program across North America and Europe, a multi-region category with significant annual spend and critical impact on fulfillment reliability.

You will develop and execute category sourcing strategies, deliver cost savings, and manage a pallet supplier portfolio across two regions, coordinating with operations, finance, and supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years of cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams.
• 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL.
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.

Responsibilities

• Establish category sourcing strategies; lead cross-functional sourcing teams and negotiate contracts.
• Drive total cost of ownership improvements and supplier relationships across NA and EU.
• Identify and optimize opportunities across both regions.
• Act as market intelligence provider for pallets category and inform stakeholders.
• Lead Supplier Relationship Management to mitigate risk and improve performance, including sustainability levers.
• Identify, achieve, and report savings targets for sourcing activities.
• Align with internal customers and understand business applications.
• Earn trust of stakeholders to drive alignment with business.
• Create a unified category strategy with internal customers.
• Achieve yearly cost-savings targets aligned with budget processes.
• Define and report on key metrics measuring supply and cost savings.
• Champion process improvements.
