Job summary

Amazon seeks a Category Manager to own and strategically source the Pallets Program across North America and Europe, a multi-region category with significant annual spend and critical for Amazon's logistics network. You will develop and execute category sourcing strategies, deliver cost savings, manage pallet suppliers, and collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

3+ years of program or project management experience.
3+ years of cross-functional with tech and non-tech teams experience.
3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
2+ years of supply chain experience.
Bachelor's degree required.
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookup) and SQL experience.

Responsibilities

Establish category sourcing strategies for Pallets; lead cross-functional sourcing teams and negotiate contracts.
Drive supplier relationships to optimize total cost of ownership.
Identify and optimize opportunities across NA and EU regions.
Act as market intelligence provider for pallets; inform stakeholders.
Lead SRM activities to mitigate risk and improve performance, including sustainability drives.
Define and report savings targets for sourcing activities.
