Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Category Manager to own and strategically source the Pallets Program across North America and Europe, a multi-region category with significant annual spend and a critical input to the reliability of Amazon's fulfillment and logistics network.

You will develop and execute category sourcing strategies, drive cost savings and productivity improvements, and manage a portfolio of pallet suppliers across two regions, partnering with Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain to

Qualifications

3+ years managing programs or projects.
3+ years cross-functional experience with tech and non-tech teams.
3+ years using data and metrics to drive process improvements.
2+ years of supply chain experience.
Bachelor's degree required.
Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and SQL experience.
Experience defining program requirements with data-driven improvements.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute category sourcing strategies for Pallets Program across NA and EU.
Lead cross-functional sourcing teams, negotiate with suppliers, and execute contracts to optimize cost position.
Drive supplier relationships to achieve optimal total cost of ownership with continuous improvement.
Identify and optimize opportunities across both regions.
Lead SRM activities to mitigate risk and improve performance, including sustainability initiatives.
Define and report on savings and value targets for sourcing activities.
