Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Senior Palantir Technical Lead to drive delivery, operations, and continuous improvement of Palantir Foundry solutions. You will lead cross‑functional efforts with product owners, engineers, and data scientists to ensure reliable, scalable data products and platform solutions.

The role requires hands‑on leadership across development, platform operations, and production support, with strong emphasis on security, governance, and data management standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of software/data/platform engineering experience.
• Experience leading technical delivery for production systems.
• Experience with incident management and production support.
• Advanced knowledge of Palantir Foundry and its core capabilities.
• Experience building pipelines, integrations, and workflows in Foundry.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical lead for Palantir Foundry applications and data products.
• Lead technical implementation to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Act as primary escalation point for production incidents and RCA.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and workflows.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate releases, deployments, and post‑deployment validation.

The Senior Palantir Technical Lead serves as the senior technical lead responsible for the delivery, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Palantir Foundry solutions. This role provides hands-on leadership across application development, platform operations, and production support while partnering with Product Owners, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders. The position leads technical execution, troubleshooting, operational support, and solution delivery while helping ensure reliability, scalability, and business value across the Palantir portfolio.Serve as the senior technical lead for Palantir Foundry applications, data products, and platform solutions.Lead technical implementation efforts to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions.Act as the primary technical escalation point for production incidents, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, applications, integrations, and operational workflows using Palantir Foundry.Lead code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions to promote engineering best practices and solution quality.Coordinate releases, deployments, production readiness reviews, and post-deployment validation.Develop and maintain runbooks, monitoring solutions, support documentation, and operational processes.Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data management standards.Mentor developers and engineers through technical guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• ~5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, platform engineering, technical consulting, or solution delivery.
• ~Experience leading technical delivery and supporting business-critical production systems.
• ~ Experience with incident management, production support, and operational excellence practices.
• ~ Advanced knowledge of Palantir Foundry and its core platform capabilities.
• Experience developing solutions using Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Ontology, Workshop, AIP, and modern React-based application development frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing data pipelines, integrations, and application workflows.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, change management, release management, and production support practices.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, influence engineering decisions, and mentor team members.
• Ability to balance operational support, project delivery, and competing priorities.
• Experience leading application migrations, platform modernization, or transformation initiatives preferred.
• Experience developing modern applications using React, TypeScript, and related web technologies, including custom applications integrated with Palantir Foundry, preferred.
• Palantir Foundry certifications such as Foundry Application Developer, Foundry Data Engineer, Foundry AI Engineer, or equivalent Palantir platform certifications preferred.
