Job summary

Lear Corporation is seeking a Palantir Foundry Developer to design, develop, and optimize data workflows within the Foundry platform. This role suits early‑career developers or data engineers eager to grow technical skills and work with cutting‑edge data technologies to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities include building data pipelines, modeling data, writing Python/SQL/Spark, and creating LLM-powered workflows with Palantir AIP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or similar).
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a closely related technical role.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Palantir Foundry or another enterprise data platform.
• Working proficiency in Python for data manipulation and pipeline development.
• Hands-on familiarity with Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP.
• Experience with TypeScript for front-end or application-layer development.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or Databricks.
• Experience building Foundry Ontologies, OTs, Code Repositories, and operational applications.
• Knowledge of micro-services, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with executives.

• Design data models and ontology structures that support data quality, lineage, and interoperability.

• Translate business and operational requirements from cross-functional stakeholders into working Foundry solutions.
• Support development of dashboards, data applications, and front-end interfaces for end users.
• Contribute to ETL design, testing, and maintenance across cloud-based data environments.
• Assist in integrating new data sources, ensuring high data quality and reliability.
• Help automate ingestion, transformation, and validation processes.
