Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an AI and Data Science Engineer III in Washington, DC to design, develop, and deploy ML/AI solutions that turn data into business value. You will build scalable models, production-ready data pipelines, and decision-support tools for client and internal teams.

This role requires 5+ years of experience in data pipelines and Palantir Foundry, plus an active U.S. Secret clearance and the ability to travel around 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• 2+ years of hands-on project experience with Palantir Foundry.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance and ability to maintain it.
• Travel about 10% based on client work.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, testing, and deploying machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions for business use cases
• Developing data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and model integration processes across structured and unstructured data sources
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, evaluate solution options, and deliver production-ready outputs
• Applying statistical analysis, model development, and experimentation techniques to improve decision-making and operational outcomes
• Supporting model deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and documentation activities across the solution lifecycle
