Job summary

TekStream Solutions seeks a Lead Palantir Data Engineer to drive AI-enabled analytics for a federal modernization initiative in Arlington, VA. You will bridge business needs with technical solutions, designing scalable data pipelines across Palantir Foundry, Advana, Databricks, and Power Platform.

You will collaborate with acquisition stakeholders, build production-grade data integrations, and lead a high-visibility team to reduce risk and improve decision-making in DoD data environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying data engineering solutions with Palantir Foundry.
• Experience with federal/DoD data environments (Advana, Jupiter) or similar.
• Strong ability to design data pipelines and integrate data from multiple sources.
• Experience applying AI, NLP, or semantic search to business data.
• Clear communication and leadership abilities to drive initiatives with minimal oversight.

Job description

We are seeking a Lead Palantir Data Engineer to support a federal acquisition modernization initiative focused on delivering AI-driven analytics and decision-support capabilities.

In this role, you will partner directly with acquisition and contracting stakeholders to identify high-value use cases, integrate data across multiple platforms, and develop scalable analytics solutions using Palantir Foundry, Advana, Databricks, and Microsoft Power Platform.

This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position for someone who can bridge business needs and technical solutions while driving the development of AI-enabled products that improve operational insight, reduce risk, and support better acquisition decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, business intelligence, or related technical fields.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying solutions in Palantir Foundry (required).
• Experience working within Advana, Jupiter, or similar federal/DoD data environments.
• Experience with modern data platforms and technologies such as Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, Kafka, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Delta Lake, or similar tools.
• Proven ability to design data pipelines, integrate and transform data from multiple sources, and develop scalable analytics solutions.
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, NLP, generative AI, semantic search, or natural language query capabilities to business data.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders, translate business needs into technical solutions, and lead initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government clearance.
