Trinity Industries, Inc. is hiring a Senior Painter at our Saginaw, TX plant.

The Senior Painter role offers a great opportunity for a resilient, team-oriented individual who embraces challenges.

As a Painter at Trinity, you will prepare, coat, and finish metal and other surfaces. You will operate spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes, including mixing and applying alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies, and waterborne paints according to prescribed formulas.

The Senior Painter will also adjust spray nozzles for proper dispersion and monitor paint flow and viscosity.

Key responsibilities include:

• Applying exterior coatings via spray and/or hand methods
• Sealing and baking final interior and exterior coatings
• Applying interior primer coats
• Preparing surfaces for painting
• Applying primer or first exterior coat
• Mixing and preparing paint
• Following all safety protocols
• Participating in safety committees or initiatives
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience preferred
• Knowledge of interior coatings and applications
