Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior PACS Consultant with deep AMAG Symmetry expertise to support enterprise PACS implementation, integration, and ongoing operation. The role focuses on leading PACS initiatives, improving reliability and security across multi-site environments, and coordinating with vendors and business teams.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of PACS experience, strong SQL Server skills, and proven ability to manage complex integrations and stakeholder communications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with enterprise PACS platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with AMAG Symmetry administration, implementation, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Experience with badge management, access provisioning, readers, controllers, alarms, and field control panels.
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server experience.
• Experience integrating PACS with enterprise applications and APIs.
• Experience supporting highly available, multi-site environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for PACS implementation and integration initiatives.
• Partner with business teams, vendors, and system integrators to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
• Support architecture, upgrades, troubleshooting, and operational readiness activities.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, and long-term supportability.
