As a Senior Packaging Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering packaging system capabilities that enable innovation, efficiency, and growth across our manufacturing network. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to lead capital projects—from concept through start‑up—while driving safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. This position requires 100% on site with minimal travel required.
Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or 10+ years of packaging/project experience
5+ years of engineering experience, including capital project execution in manufacturing environments.
Experience managing project scope, timelines, and budgets.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proven ability to drive results and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing environments.
Background in Operations and/or maintenance/reliability engineering roles.
Experience with 2D and 3D modeling software (ACAD, Solidworks, etc.).
Knowledge of CI / Lean / TPM methodologies.
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job‑related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $90,900 - $170,100
–Zone B: $83,400 - $155,900
–Zone C: $75,800 - $141,700
