Abbott Nutrition is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist, Packaging to help drive procurement strategy and value creation across packaging spend within the U.S. region.

You will partner closely with Global Procurement, Operations, Supply Chain, and site procurement teams to develop sourcing strategies, optimize supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and deliver sustainable cost savings while supporting business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in procurement or related function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Implement packaging category procurement strategies across the U.S. region.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to support business and operational needs.
• Lead competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, and supplier evaluations.
• Conduct supplier negotiations and manage supplier relationships to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.
• Analyze supplier proposals, market trends, and cost structures to support sourcing decisions.
• Develop and manage project plans to execute multiple procurement initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, Quality, and Risk Management.
