Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Senior Manager, Production to lead the Packaging organization for CSS KCM, overseeing primary and secondary packaging for clinical trials and commercial products. The role requires directing processes, systems and people to ensure quality, safety, and regulatory adherence in a 100% onsite Kansas City setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management, supervisory, or team leadership experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, staff, and other personnel.
• Ability to plan and independently implement multiple projects.
• Ability to work under tight and emergent deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including presentation ability.

Responsibilities

• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource or operational challenges.
• Maintain a safe working environment and proactively identify safety concerns.
• Provide insight and guidance into event Root Cause Analysis and review/approve reports (discrepancies, deviations, complaints).
• Ensure overall quality of output from the Production group, including executed batch records and packaged outputs.
• Oversee and assist with investigations related to Production and ensure CAPA identification and closure.
• Ensure on-time starts and delivery of production schedules.
• Execute daily plans as scheduled.
• Ensure completion of Daily Shift Notes and effective communication between shifts.
• Provide active feedback to planning and scheduling for efficient production.
• Reinforce and set standards for rewarding and recognizing team members.
