Job summary

Catalent, Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations at its Philadelphia site to lead clinical and small-scale commercial packaging and labeling, ensuring flawless execution and adherence to cGMPs.

You will drive CI, collaborate across Quality, Technical Operations and Continuous Improvement, and mentor staff to deliver high performance. The role requires a strong background in regulated manufacturing, strategic leadership, and the ability to manage multiple functions while maintaining client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• MS/MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership and 5+ years managing manufacturing or equivalent in regulated industry.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement and lean culture.
• Solid knowledge of SOPs and cGMPs; ability to standardize processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish annual budgets, cost targets and manufacturing goals.
• Develop and implement CI strategies for Packaging & Labeling operations.
• Lead capital projects and ensure Operational Readiness.
• Interact with clients, contractors and vendors to meet objectives.
• Coach and develop staff to drive high performance and engagement.
• Assist with talent recruitment and build a strong team.
• Create standard procedures to improve operator performance and compliance.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities meet cGMP standards and quality expectations.
• Lead client site meetings and present capabilities; coordinate regulatory interactions.
