Job summary

Delkor in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Assembly/Machine Builder to assemble loaders and special machines. You will navigate SolidWorks drawings to identify issues, follow the build book and ensure quality and safety standards on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include applying 5S, participating in continuous improvement, and training others per the Delkor system. The role requires five years of packaging machinery assembly experience and proficiency with pneumatic and electrical tools.

Qualifications

• Two-year Automated Packaging degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a packaging machinery assembler.
• Experience using pneumatic and electrical tools, grinders, band saws, sanders, lifting devices, drills.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in the assembly process of machines including formers and closers.
• Navigates SolidWorks models and drawings to determine problems and clarify the build process.
• Performs the assembly process of loaders and special machines.
• Completes an Engineering Change Request (ECR) for machine continuous improvement ideas.
• Assembles machines per the build book and documented requirements.
