Delkor in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a skilled machine builder to assemble packaging machinery, including formers and closers. You will read drawings, navigate SolidWorks, and address build issues on the floor.

This role requires a two-year automation packaging degree or equivalent, at least five years' experience, and ability to work with pneumatic/electrical tools. You will contribute to continuous improvement, safety, and 5S while meeting production schedules.

Formación

• Two-year Automated Packaging degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a packaging machinery assembler.
• Experience with pneumatic and electrical tools, grinders, band saws, sanders, lifting devices, drills and hand tools.

Responsabilidades

• Proficient in the assembly process of machines including formers and closers.
• Navigate SolidWorks models and drawings to determine problems and clarify the build process.
• Perform the assembly process of loaders and special machines.
• Complete Production Concerns requests and Engineering Change Requests for improvements.
• Assemble machines per build book and requirements.
• Return stock parts on build/checkout properly.
• Assist with disassembling, crating, and shipment of machines.
• Communicate shortages of parts to Production Lead.
• Other tasks as assigned.
