Job summary

Delkor Systems, Inc. seeks a skilled Packaging Machinery Assembler to join our production team in Minnesota. You will assemble formers, closers, and loaders, and interpret SolidWorks drawings to ensure accurate builds.

The role requires at least five years of packaging machinery assembly experience, proficiency with pneumatic and electrical tools, and a commitment to 5S and quality standards. You will collaborate across departments and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Two-year Automated Packaging degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a packaging machinery assembler.
• Experience using pneumatic and electrical tools, grinders, band saw, sanders, lifting and moving devices, saws and drills and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in assembling machines including formers and closers.
• Navigate SolidWorks drawings to identify assembly issues and clarify build process.
• Assemble loaders and special machines.
• Submit Production Concerns requests when discrepancies are found; raise ECRs for improvements.
• Assemble machines per build book and documented requirements; interface with third-party equipment.
• Return stock parts on machine build and checkout.
• Assist with disassembling, crating, and shipping of machines.
• Communicate shortages and priorities for parts accordingly.
