• 4-10 years’ work experience within food/beverage packaging.
• Experience in development and execution of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging materials.
• Knowledge of interrelationship with equipment.
• Strong project management skills with timelines and budgets.
• Strong conceptual, analytical and technical skills with communication and presentation.
• Maintain open communication and build relationships with internal & external teams.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

• Follow stage gate process; create package development plan & timeline and manage project budget.

Responsibilities

• Senior Packaging Engineer to support business with proven technical packaging expertise and ability to develop and commercialize new packaging designs.
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Purchasing and Finance to create new business opportunities and develop packaging solutions for established projects.
• Collaborate with Product Development on packaging/product requirements (functionality, protection, shelf life) and develop/maintain packaging specifications.
• Create go-to-market solutions that deliver product efficiently via multiple distribution platforms and stay current with packaging technologies.
• Demonstrate ability to incorporate new technologies to optimize system cost and efficiency.
