Job summary

ASR Group in Crockett, CA is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to enhance the efficiency, safety, and quality of packaging equipment in the Production Department. You will manage projects, lead cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement across high-speed packaging lines.

The role requires 5+ years in packaging projects, GMP/OSHA knowledge, and strong problem-solving with Lean/Six Sigma methods. This is a full-time on-site position based in Crockett, CA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Packaging improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, sanitary design and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM or WCM methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and improve packaging operations; adopt new technologies and retrofit equipment.
• Troubleshoot packaging issues with operations and suppliers to optimize line efficiency.
• Develop and improve procedures to reduce setup/changeover time and cost.
• Provide technical support for capital projects and new product testing/start-ups.
• Ensure packaging equipment safety and maintain operating standards.
