Job summary

Niagara Bottling in California is seeking a Sr. Engineer - Packaging Execution (CA Based + Travel) to coordinate the execution and commercialization of innovative packaging solutions across primary, secondary, and tertiary formats, driving commissioning and validation through trials to support launches of Beverage and Core products.

This hands-on role requires collaboration with Product Engineering, Project Management, Packaging Quality, and Program Management, with 75–100% travel and a focus on

Qualifications

• 4+ years in packaging or related engineering/manufacturing fields.
• 4+ years in the Packaging Engineer role or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience managing people or projects.
• 6+ years in packaging or related fields (preferred).
• 6+ years experience in the position (preferred).
• 4+ years managing people/projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Onsite commissioning and qualification for packaging formats and adjacent systems across various fill processes.
• Travel 75% to 100% to support project execution.
• Coordinate multiple projects with varying levels of complexity.
• Apply analytical tools to diagnose and resolve manufacturing/design challenges.
• Collect, analyze, and present testing data to support decisions.
• Support knowledge transfer of packaging best practices and root cause analysis.
• Communicate trial results to technical and leadership audiences.
• Develop protocols, process workflows, training and reporting.
• Demonstrate knowledge of packaging materials (PET, rPET, HDPE, LLDPE) and processes (Injection Molding, ISBM).
