Job summary

Talking Rain Beverage Company is seeking a Packaging Engineer to lead end-to-end packaging development for our beverage portfolio. You will drive commercialization of packaging systems, from bottles and closures to labels and primary/secondary packaging, ensuring performance, sustainability, and regulatory alignment.

You will work closely with R&D, Quality, Procurement, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and may travel up to 40% to support trials and launches.

Qualifications

• 8+ years packaging engineering experience in CPG/beverage manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading packaging development from concept to launch.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development and commercialization of packaging systems (PET, rPET, bottles, closures, labels, cartons, etc.).
• Apply technical expertise to support performance, sustainability, regulatory and manufacturing requirements.
• Lead lab/testing, pilot trials, and line validation for packaging programs.
• Review drawings, dielines, and supplier data to ensure compliance with brand and quality standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers, co-manufacturers, R&D, Procurement, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Travel up to 40% and support trials, launches, or special assignments.
