Job summary

Jazwares is seeking a Senior Packaging Designer to lead the design of Sticker Guide art, character art, prints, and graphics for consumer products. You will drive concept-to-prototype work, influence packaging strategy, and elevate visual branding while mentoring junior designers.

The role requires collaboration with packaging managers and partners to deliver innovative packaging from concept to production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, art, industrial design, or related field.
5+ years of packaging design experience in consumer products (CPG) with toys/kids brands preferred.
Experience with licensed brands, die-lines, and physical mock-ups.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and 3D mock-up tooling.
Excellent visual design, typography, color theory and branding sense.
Ability to mentor and lead junior designers.

Responsibilities

Support the Packaging Design Manager through design process from concept to production.
Develop packaging design systems that balance functionality and aesthetics.
Evaluate designs for fit, materials, cost, manufacturability and brand alignment.
Monitor packaging trends and translate into innovative concepts.
Manage timelines and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet delivery dates.
Prepare sketches, drawings, and artwork using Adobe Creative Suite.
Collaborate to implement strategies across product lines and licenses.
Provide project updates to national and international teams.
Attend meetings with cross-functional departments and external vendors.
Lead packaging ideas through hand sketches, software, and proofs.
Ensure Pantone accuracy, proofs, and print readiness.
