Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group seeks an experienced Senior Scheduler to support distribution and substation construction projects in Texas. Office locations include Dallas or Houston with up to 40% travel; relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years scheduling experience on electric distribution, substation, or utility projects.
• Strong Primavera P6 expertise for schedule development, updates and loading.
• Experience scheduling utility construction activities including crews, materials and equipment.
• Understanding of construction sequencing, productivity and field execution.
• Experience with schedule forecasting, earned value, KPIs and variance analysis.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage CPM Primavera P6 schedules for utility distribution, substation and related projects.
• Build resource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with baselines and execution strategies.
• Integrate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, field operations and commissioning.
• Perform critical path analysis, schedule updates and what-if scenarios.
• Identify schedule risks and mitigation planning, monitor variances.
• Produce baseline schedules, progress updates, forecasts and narratives.
• Generate earned value metrics, KPIs, cash flow reports and project controls.
• Support look-ahead planning, short-interval schedules and field coordination.
• Ensure schedule documentation complies with contract and company standards.
