Job summary

Protingent is seeking a Senior Project Controls Specialist (P6 Scheduler) to support a complex nuclear project from design through client delivery. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated schedules in Primavera P6, aligned with project objectives and PMO standards.

You will partner with Engineering and Supply Chain, identify schedule risks, perform critical path and earned value analyses, and deliver clear reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Advanced degree preferred; alternatively, an additional 4 years (12 years total) of directly applicable working experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 8 years of full-time working experience in project scheduling within large-scale projects or programs in nuclear and energy.
• Must have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage complex programs/projects with multiple work phases.
• Must demonstrate strong technical writing skills with excellent communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Planning, Scheduling, Last Planner, Primavera P6 (mandatory), PRISM G2 (preferred), Oracle.
• Eligible to work under Department of Energy regulation 10 CFR, Part 810.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Integrate schedules across programs into integrated master schedules.
• Perform schedule analysis: critical path, float, risk assessments; identify variances and actions.
• Support project controls with earned value analysis and progress reporting.
• Ensure PMO standards and governance; maintain consistent coding structures and calendars.
