Job summary

MS Technology, Inc. seeks a Mechanical Engineer, P.E. to support complex nuclear and industrial projects with piping, HVAC and utility design, working with multidisciplinary teams. The candidate will develop piping layouts, create engineering deliverables, and contribute to design documentation in collaboration with engineers from multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 9+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience supporting piping and mechanical system design for industrial or nuclear facilities.
• U.S. Citizenship required; PE license and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support system and mechanical engineering design activities for complex industrial and nuclear projects.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables including P&IDs, specifications, calculations (e.g., pipe stress, hydraulic, safety valve sizing, ventilation sizing), and equipment arrangements.
• Develop piping and utility system designs supporting facility infrastructure, process support systems, and operations.
• Coordinate with process, structural, electrical, and I&C engineering teams.
• Perform piping and mechanical system field walkdowns and support design verification activities.
• Assist with piping system evaluations, equipment selection, and design modifications.
• Support project planning, procurement, construction, startup, testing, and commissioning activities as needed.
• Participate in design reviews and resolution of technical issues.
• Interface with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and project teams as needed.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry codes, standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.
