Job summary

Allstate is seeking a P&C Actuary Director - Reserving to lead complex loss and expense reserves across Auto Injury and Business Insurance. The role reports to senior leadership and interfaces with external actuaries and regulators.

Expect travel within the local area and occasional office presence as needed. The candidate will drive modern reserving practices, apply AI-enabled methods, and guide a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; FCAS or equivalent designation required.
• 12+ years of progressive P&C actuarial experience with reserving depth.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the reserve estimates across Auto Injury and Business Insurance.
• Present results to CFO, CAO, CEO, and other leaders; coordinate with external actuaries.
• Benchmark methods and modernize reserving with stochastic models and AI.
• Lead and develop the actuarial team; manage succession and growth.
• Ensure GAAP, Statutory, and regulatory model governance compliance.
