CAC Group, part of The Baldwin Group, is a leading insurance broker and advisor in Birmingham, AL. We seek a Sr AE to market new and renewed P&C business, oversee a service team, and present renewal results to clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, state license, 5–7 years in P&C administration/marketing, strong communication, and the ability to travel. Proficiency in MS Office and agency management is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Appropriate state license required.
• Five to seven years of experience in a P&C administration/marketing role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong multitasking & time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Agency Management experience.
• May require overnight travel.
• Professional in appearance and business conduct with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-renewal and renewal meetings to present results to established client contacts.
• Oversee a team of employees handling a specific book of business.
• Prepare and participate in prospect and client presentation meetings.
• Present renewal meetings and stewardship reviews to clients.
• Prepare, review, and supervise renewal submissions for marketing; process electronic renewal submissions including loss data and contracts.
• Analyze carrier quotes for accuracy and prepare proposal/presentation documents.
• Communicate with producer to determine carrier recommendations and pricing.
• Submit sold business to the insurance market and oversee implementation.
• Review documents issued by insurers for accuracy.
• Understand complex financial analyses and claims data.
• Initiate and conduct marketing strategy meetings with producers.
• Coordinate with client service on account expectations and tracking.
• Assist in supervising support staff to manage workflow.
• Gain hands-on experience to manage a service team as a Sr AE.
• Other duties as assigned.
