Job summary

Pacifico Energy LLC is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support the Cedar Creek project startup, acting as the owner's witness and technical reviewer of mechanical systems. You will review procedures, witness tests, track readiness to turnover, and drive issue resolution with contractors and vendors while ensuring preservation and performance testing are completed.

Requirements include 10+ years in mechanical commissioning, lube oil flushing, rotating equipment startup, ASME

Qualifications

• 10+ years commissioning mechanical systems on power or process plants.
• Hands-on experience with lube oil flushing and rotating equipment startup.
• Working knowledge of ASME codes.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent years of field experience.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical commissioning procedures before execution.
• Witness flushing, cleaning, leak testing and functional testing.
• Track system readiness through to turnover.
• Drive resolution of mechanical startup issues with the contractor and vendors.
• Verify preservation is maintained through the commissioning period.
• Support performance testing of mechanical systems.
