Job summary

Pacifico Energy LLC is seeking an experienced HSE Manager for the Cedar Creek project in Nebraska. You will own health, safety, and environmental oversight for the owner and set the standard for EPC contractor performance, with authority to stop work as needed.

Responsibilities include reviewing commissioning procedures, witnessing initial plant starts, tracking vibration and performance data, and partnering with OEM teams to drive lessons learned across the fleet.

Qualifications

• 10+ years commissioning large gas turbines and generators.
• Experience with first fire and first sync on multiple units.
• Familiarity with OEM startup procedures and turbine control systems.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu, Procore and AI tools used with human verification.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent years of field experience.

Responsibilities

• Review turbine commissioning procedures and OEM startup plans.
• Witness first fire, first sync and initial load runs.
• Track vibration, temperature and performance data through startup.
• Partner with OEM commissioning engineers across the fleet.
• Drive lessons from early units into the units that follow.
• Support performance testing of the turbine fleet.
• Monitor preservation of the turbine fleet through commissioning.
