Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking a Lead Software Engineer, OutSystems, to architect and deliver high-quality OutSystems applications supporting banking operations. You will guide a team of developers, set standards, and ensure security, performance, and compliance in a regulated environment.

You will work across OutSystems 11 and ODC, lead technical design, mentoring, and DevOps practices, including LifeTime deployments and CI/CD integrations with DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in OutSystems (O11).
• Strong full-stack foundation: .NET/C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience delivering OutSystems apps in regulated banking environments.
• Proficient with OutSystems tools: Service Studio, Integration Studio, LifeTime; ODC Studio/Portal.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and version control (Git or equivalent).
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and Jira/Azure DevOps/Confluence.
• Ability to work across multi-team, dual-shore delivery environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of OutSystems apps using O11 and ODC patterns.
• Develop complex OutSystems web and mobile apps in O11 and ODC.
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP integrations with core banking systems.
• Extend OutSystems with C#/.NET when needed.
• Ensure UI/UX responsiveness and accessibility across frameworks.
