Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an outdoor lighting maintenance technician in the Charlotte area. The role requires operating a bucket truck and lifts to service outdoor lighting across the region, with full-time 40-hour schedules.

Candidates should have strong technical skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, diagnosing complex issues in utility and infrastructure systems, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Trade/Tech School Trades Certificate or trades/licensing requiring CEUs.
• Electrical contracting license education: advanced training beyond high school.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on complex facility systems.
• Diagnoses and implements repairs for Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
• Installs/replaces and maintains building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems.
• Operates and monitors building utility equipment and uses BAS to troubleshoot issues.
• Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
• Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and manuals for task completion.
