Job summary

Walmart Inc. is seeking a dedicated outbound transportation professional to manage carrier relationships, delivery management, and vendor compliance for the Walmart and Sam’s Club fulfillment networks.

You will partner with fulfillment center teams and external 3PLs to optimize the outbound parcel transportation network. The role emphasizes high visibility, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous process improvement across routes, capacity planning, and delivery analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field and 3 years’ experience in logistics or related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
• 12‑month commitment specified for new launches and rollouts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate carrier relationships and order execution to ensure service levels.
• Review carrier KPIs to meet on-time delivery goals and communicate findings to management.
• Plan loads/routes and analyze trailer utilization to reduce freight costs.
• Develop insights and report on delivery metrics for regional networks and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive process improvements.
