K&A Power Group, a Hartford-based engineering firm, is seeking an Outage Coordinator II to join our team. You will manage outages for transmission construction, coordinate with multiple groups, and ensure alignment with project schedules.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in electric utility or related industries, strong engineering fundamentals, and excellent communication skills. This role reports to site or office as needed and offers a competitive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent 10 years of relevant experience recommended.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management practices for electrical utility transmission/construction.
• Experience with OSHA, NESC, and industry codes affecting electric utilities.
• Strong reading of mechanical/electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communications across reports and documents.

Aufgaben

• Plan, schedule, and oversee outages to support construction.
• Organize outage kickoff meetings and develop high-level preliminary outage plans.
• Coordinate outage requirements to resolve conflicts and align with other projects.
• Provide outage plans and drawings; conduct site visits and meetings as needed.
• Monitor and control outage plans; adapt to changes and resequencing.
