K&A Power Group in Hartford, Connecticut is seeking an experienced Outage Coordinator II to join our team. You will plan, schedule, and oversee outages to support construction and ensure alignment with project goals.

This role requires extensive knowledge of electrical utility transmission construction, strong leadership, and proven ability to manage complex outage plans, site visits, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of progressive electric utility or related industry experience with transmission facilities construction management preferred.
• Five years' supervisory experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent (10 years relevant experience recommended).
• Extensive knowledge of construction management practices for electrical utility transmission projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and oversee outages to support construction.
• Review outage assessments; organize kickoff meetings and establish scope and schedule.
• Coordinate outage requirements with other areas to minimize conflicts.
• Provide outage plan and drawings; conduct site visits and stakeholder meetings.
• Facilitate development of emergency restoration measures and time estimates.
• Monitor and control outage plans; adapt to changes and resequence as needed.
