Summary

We are recruiting for a Senior OT Systems Analyst responsible for leading Manufacturing IT projects and delivering value to Manufacturing Operations at Perdue. The role involves leading OT Manufacturing Infrastructure projects, managing projects from inception to completion, and working across multiple operational technologies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage all aspects of manufacturing systems projects including requirements, vendor evaluation, process reengineering, design, development, documentation, implementation, and support.
2. Document project requests with benefits, costs, timelines, and stakeholders.
3. Understand OT environment architecture and DAQ systems (Ignition, Rockwell, PLCs, SCADA).
4. Manage project budgets and track actuals.
5. Evaluate technical solutions, compare vendors, and recommend solutions.
6. Learn new technologies as needed.
7. Collaborate with business and IT teams to develop schedules, monitor success, identify risks, and lead projects.
8. Create process documentation including design documents, data flow diagrams, network diagrams, SOPs, and training materials.

This role may be based at our Salisbury MD Corporate Office without relocation assistance.

Salary & Benefits

The salary range is $97,000 - $145,000 per year, based on experience, with an annual bonus potential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, life insurance, disability coverage, flexible spending, and paid time off.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with business units and functional groups to understand requirements.
2. Lead cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions.
3. Utilize technology and standard approaches to improve processes.
4. Define resource needs, project timelines, and use scheduling tools.
5. Build relationships within Manufacturing Systems, IT, and the business.
6. Support all levels of supply chain applications and network infrastructure.
7. Support strategy, challenge status quo, and focus on continuous improvement.

Minimum Education & Experience

• BSc in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related; 5-7 years experience.
• Manufacturing/OT experience.
• Successful project management of small to medium projects.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of OT architecture, Ignition DAQ, and network security.
• Experience creating process maps and SOPs.
• Ability to travel up to 35%.
• Knowledge of OT/IT networking and control systems programming.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in poultry, beef, pork, or food industry.
• Experience with large organizations.
• Background in Ignition, PLC, SCADA.
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Physical & Environmental Factors

• Office-based with occasional site visits.
• Exposure to plant environments, including noise, temperature, and chemicals.
• Must wear safety equipment as required.
