What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead manufacturing systems projects from inception to completion, managing all aspects including requirements definition and implementation
- Document project requests including benefits, costs, estimated timelines, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to develop project schedules and monitor project success
- Create process documentation such as functional design documents, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Build effective working relationships within the Manufacturing Systems team and other IT areas
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS degree or equivalent related work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business Management
- 5-7 years of related work experience in Manufacturing/Operational Technology
- Proven record of successful project management for small to medium-sized projects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with OT architecture, Ignition DAQ concepts, and project management tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in poultry, beef, or pork operations and/or the food and beverage industry
- Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) & NIST 800-82
- Background in Ignition, PLC, and SCADA systems
- Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple teams
- Knowledge of industrial control systems programming and architecture
