Job summary

Fervo Energy, a NASDAQ-listed geothermal innovator, seeks a Senior OT Security Analyst to harden the cybersecurity of its operational technology environments. You will partner with Operations, OT engineering, IT, compliance, and vendors to translate program objectives into durable technical controls and evidence.

This role advances OT asset visibility, risk management, monitoring, and incident response while applying NIST SP 800-82 Rev.

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years in cybersecurity, controls, industrial networking, or related engineering with at least 3 years in OT/ICS security.
• Working knowledge of SCADA, PLCs/RTACs, HMIs, historians, engineering workstations, network devices, and remote-site communications.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, engineering, computer science, information systems, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel to Fervo sites as needed for commissioning, maintenance, or recovery windows.

Responsibilities

• Translate OT program objectives into execution and maintain practical security standards.
• Maintain the OT risk lifecycle with risk scenarios, safeguards, owners, and closure evidence.
• Support governance, assurance, and audit preparation for OT cybersecurity forums.
• Assist with NERC CIP readiness and asset scoping where applicable.
• Improve OT asset visibility and manage vulnerability and configuration baselines.
• Coordinate remediation activities with owners and vendors for patches and changes.
• Develop OT monitoring, incident response playbooks, and recovery planning.
• Govern privileged and remote access, review vendor access, and reduce shared-service risk.
• Collaborate across teams to provide guidance and maintain accurate records.
