Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Senior OT Security Analyst to strengthen the security of our operational technology environments. This hands-on role partners with Operations, OT, IT, and compliance to translate security objectives into durable technical controls and evidence.

The position involves evaluating OT architectures, monitoring capabilities, and incident-response readiness, with a hybrid work model and in-office presence at Houston, TX or other U.S. sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years OT/ICS security experience.
• Experience with SCADA, PLCs, RTACs, HMIs, historians, and industrial networks.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-82 Rev.3 and IEC 62443; NERC CIP familiarity.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and communicate risk.

Responsibilities

• Translate OT program objectives into executable controls.
• Maintain the OT risk lifecycle with owners and due dates.
• Prepare status metrics and review materials for OT cybersecurity and compliance forums.
• Coordinate remediation with asset owners and vendors.
• Develop safe OT monitoring coverage and incident response playbooks.
• Support backup and recovery testing for OT systems.
