Job summary

Platte River Power Authority is seeking an experienced OT cybersecurity professional to design and implement secure OT architectures across ICS/SCADA environments and DERs. The role emphasizes risk management, monitoring, and incident response while aligning with NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, and CIP standards.

You'll collaborate with engineering and operations to balance safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance, and help shape security strategies for future DER integration and grid modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Current valid driver’s license and ability to remain insurable under vehicle policy
• GICSP or GCIP certification or ability to earn within 12 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain OT cybersecurity standards and reference architectures
• Design cybersecurity controls for IC, SCADA, DCS, and OT networks
• Establish network segmentation between IT and OT using ISA/IEC 62443 model
• Provide security guidance for DERMS, IIoT, and new generation assets with planning input
• Monitor OT environments and support incident response and CIP compliance
• Lead vulnerability management, patch strategies, and risk-based remediation
