Cyberjobs seeks a Senior OT Security Analyst based in the United States to monitor and detect threats across customer OT environments, investigate suspicious activity, validate detections, and coordinate with threat hunters, incident responders, and engineers to translate findings into actionable escalations and playbooks.

You will mentor junior analysts, maintain OT security environments, manage vulnerabilities, and expand expertise in ICS/OT protocols and MITRE ATT&CK for IC.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of experience in network security.
• Strong understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, DNS, packet analysis).
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring technologies (IDS/IPS, SIEM, network analysis).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate findings for both cybersecurity professionals and customers.
• Genuine interest in ICS/OT cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection.
• Ability to work remotely with distributed, cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to participate in shift-based coverage, including weekends.
• Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) is preferred.
• Familiarity with OT/ICS protocols (Modbus, DNP3, EtherNet/IP) is preferred.
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK for IC… is a plus.
• Laboratory/threat hunting/forensics/cybersecurity ops experience valued.
• Experience with PCAP analysis or scripting is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead frontline shift operations, guiding analysts during triage of alerts and telemetry.
• Conduct senior-level investigations into suspicious activity within industrial environments.
• Analyze and escalate findings to incident responders with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with threat hunters, incident responders, platform engineers, and Detection Engineering to improve detections.
• Prepare incident summaries and operational reports for stakeholders and customers.
• Support the broader OT security service, including vulnerability management and hardening recommendations.
• Mentor and support junior analysts, sharing techniques and best practices.
• Continuously develop expertise in IC… protocols, threat intelligence, and adversary tradecraft.
