Job summary

Cognizant, based in Boston, is seeking an OT Infrastructure Solution Architect with 16+ years of experience to lead architecture across IT/OT stacks and site environments.

You will collaborate with Client’s Technical Architects, security teams, and site teams to capture requirements, assess current-state environments, and define target-state architectures aligned with Purdue Model principles. This senior role drives secure integration, roadmaps, and migration approaches.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of OT infrastructure experience.
• Expertise in OT platforms and security controls.
• Experience aligning IT and OT with Purdue Model principles.

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate OT infrastructure architecture and tech stack.
• Collaborate with client architects, stakeholders, site teams, and security staff to capture requirements.
• Assess current-site environments and identify constraints and migration needs.
• Validate target OT architecture across network, IAM, endpoint management, and security tooling.
• Define and review network segmentation per Purdue Model for IT vs OT layers.
• Provide design authority and resolve architecture risks and blockers.
• Support governance and design reviews with clear recommendations.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with standards.
