Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an OT Infrastructure Solution Architect with 16+ years of experience to design industrial OT infrastructure architectures and lead secure IT/OT integration. You will work with client technical architects, site teams and security groups to capture requirements, validate designs, and plan migrations to scalable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience: 16+ years in OT/IT infrastructure and architecture.
• No visa sponsorship or transfer available now or in the future.
• Strong skills in architecture design, network segmentation, and secure IT/OT integration.

Responsibilities

• Understand and validate the overall OT infrastructure architecture and technology stack.
• Collaborate with client’s technical architects, program stakeholders, site teams, security teams, and infrastructure SMEs to capture requirements.
• Assess current-state site environments and identify architecture dependencies, constraints, integration requirements, and migration considerations.
• Validate target-state OT infrastructure architecture across network, identity, access management, endpoint management, security tooling, and operations.
• Define, review, and validate network segmentation strategy aligned with Purdue Model principles across enterprise IT to industrial layers.
• Provide architecture guidance for secure IT/OT integration and ensure alignment with security/operational standards.
• Validate integration architecture for core components like Active Directory, Privileged Access Management, PKI, endpoint protection, ePO, SCCM, etc.
• Review engineering designs, high/low-level designs, and migration plans for consistency with approved architecture.
• Act as technical design authority for architecture queries, decisions, and deviations.
• Identify risks, gaps, security concerns, and blockers; drive timely resolution with stakeholders.
• Support governance forums, design reviews, and architecture walkthroughs with clear recommendations.
• Ensure deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards and timelines.
