Job summary

MITRE seeks a senior/lead OT/ICS cybersecurity expert to work with government sponsors on defensive operations and threat-informed risk assessment for critical infrastructure. The role focuses on designing cyber sensors, analytic architectures, and adversary emulation within OT environments.

Candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission needs into protective technologies, while maintaining strong qualifications in OT protocols, security controls, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in engineering or related technical field required.
• 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 3 years with a Master's; or PhD with relevant experience).
• Experience across OT cybersecurity, OT protocol analysis, and/or process control.
• Eligible for Top Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum 3 days per week on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for cyber protection technologies for government and critical infrastructure.
• Operationalize cyber sensors and analytic architectures for OT cybersecurity.
• Conduct threat analyses to inform OT resilient architectures.
• Research OT defensive TTPs for detecting and responding to threats.
• Develop attack emulation and deception operations.
