Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking an Orthopaedic Technician to provide clinical assessment and care management for orthopedic outpatients. You will present patient data to physicians, remove sutures, and help with casts and splints while monitoring patient flow.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of Orthopaedic Technician experience, strong English communication, and current BLS/OTC or ROT certification. A supportive team environment and comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Must demonstrate customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Orthopaedic Technician.
• Current OTC or ROT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical assessment and care management for orthopedic outpatients.
• Present relevant patient data to the physician; remove sutures; apply/remove casts and splints.
• Monitor patient flow during clinic hours and collect/record patient data; provide patient information and instructions.
