Job summary

TXO-Kyle Clinic in Kyle, TX is seeking a Senior Orthopedic Medical Assistant to provide hands-on patient care while taking on operational responsibilities. You will cast, splint, brace, manage DME, mentor staff, oversee inventory, and support clinic leadership to improve processes and patient experience.

Candidates should have 3+ years of orthopedic/DME experience and EMR proficiency; applicable MA or Orthopedic Tech certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of orthopedic, casting, splinting, or DME experience.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with orthopedic patient care.
• Perform advanced casting, splinting, bracing, and DME application.
• Manage technician appointments and patient follow-up needs.
• Document patient care in the EMR.
• Mentor and support Medical Assistants and clinical team members.
• Oversee clinic inventory and supply levels.
• Coordinate DME authorizations and insurance benefit verification.
• Maintain OSHA standards and clinic compliance.
