ASRC Federal at Kennedy Space Center, FL, seeks a Senior ORION Precision Cleaning Technician, 2nd Shift, to support precision cleaning, inspection, and assembly of aerospace flight hardware in ISO-class cleanrooms.

Responsibilities include following detailed work instructions and safety procedures, performing chemical, solvent, mechanical, and ultrasonic cleaning, inspecting with borescopes, conducting pressure testing, and maintaining documentation and traceability within controlled

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; hands-on mechanical, manufacturing, or shop experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support precision cleaning, inspection, and assembly of aerospace flight hardware in ISO-class cleanrooms.
• Follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, contamination-control requirements, and FOD-prevention practices.
• Perform precision chemical, solvent, mechanical, and ultrasonic cleaning of flight tubing and components.
• Inspect tubing and assemblies using borescopes and specialized tooling to verify cleanliness and quality conformance.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing to validate tube structural integrity.
• Perform material preparation tasks including cutting, deburring, and honing raw metal tubing prior to fabrication.
• Handle and transport aerospace hardware with extreme care while maintaining flight-readiness standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation, traceability, and cleanliness records within controlled manufacturing processes.
• Support assembly technicians and engineers with contamination-critical hardware preparation and integration tasks.
