ASRC Federal is seeking an ORION Precision Cleaning Technician, Associate, 2nd Shift at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. • High school diploma or equivalent; hands-on mechanical, manufacturing, or shop experience preferred.
• Ability to safely work with chemicals, solvents, and high-pressure test equipment.
• Strong attention to detail to prevent particulate contamination in flight hardware.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsabilidades

• Support precision cleaning, inspection, and assembly of aerospace flight hardware in ISO-class cleanrooms.
• Follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, contamination-control requirements, and FOD-prevention practices.
• Perform precision chemical, solvent, mechanical, and ultrasonic cleaning of flight tubing and components.
• Inspect tubing and assemblies using borescopes and specialized tooling to verify cleanliness and quality conformance.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing to validate tube structural integrity.
• Perform material preparation tasks including cutting, deburring, and honing raw metal tubing prior to fabrication.
• Handle and transport aerospace hardware with extreme care while maintaining flight-readiness standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation, traceability, and cleanliness records within controlled manufacturing processes.
• Support assembly technicians and engineers with contamination-critical hardware preparation and integration tasks.
