Qualifications

• 7–10 years in roles like Chief of Staff/Senior Program Manager with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience influencing senior leaders in a software engineering organization.
• Proven ability to drive programs with measurable outcomes, from design to iteration.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and how engineering teams are structured.
• Ability to analyze organizational data and translate it into leadership recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the rhythm of business for senior engineering leadership, designing and improving staff meetings and leadership syncs.
• Track action items from leadership forums, surface blockers, elevate risks, and close commitments.
• Lead end-to-end planning of quarterly reviews, planning cycles, and offsites, driving meaningful decisions.
• Establish a structured intake process for leadership priorities and triage requests.
• Identify inefficiencies and design scalable, repeatable solutions; document frameworks for broad adoption.
• Lead headcount planning, fiscal budgeting, space planning, and growth planning across orgs.
• Translate headcount and engagement data into actionable leadership insights.
• Navigate complex organizational challenges with independent judgment.
• Build partnerships across Engineering, Finance, People, Learning & Development, and Communications.
• Influence without authority and align teams on multi-party decisions.
• Act as thought partner to senior leaders, preparing them for key conversations.
• Identify cultural gaps and org health signals; translate findings into programs on career development, engagement, and inclusion.
• Own employee engagement programs end-to-end with measurable goals and data-driven iteration.
• Own audience-specific communications plans (town halls, updates, blogs, internal docs).
• Partner with senior leaders on communications strategy; translate engineering topics for diverse audiences.
