Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Organic Chemist to support USEPA laboratory analyses, calibrations, and data interpretation. The role requires strong analytical chemistry expertise and experience supervising laboratory operations.

On-site reporting will be required as the office opens, with potential for remote work for some arrangements. You will review data per EPA guidelines, perform GC/MS analyses, and prepare technical reports detailing validation results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related discipline with extensive relevant experience.
• Eight years of directly related experience, or a Master’s with six years, or a Ph.D. with four years.
• Experience leading analytical chemistry projects and data validation.

Responsibilities

• Review laboratory analytical data in accordance with EPA National Functional Guidelines.
• Perform instrumental analysis for organic compounds (GC/MS) and peer review of data.
• Prepare technical reports documenting results of data validation or analyses.
